Ladies and Gents, start your grills...
Memorial Day Weekend doubles as the kick off to summer and one of my favorite parts about summer is grilled foods, of all varieties. This pork recipe is the kick off to grilled foods appearing very regularly on this page…
Marinated Grilled Pork Tenderloin
Yield : 3-4 servings
Prep : 2 ½ hours with marinating
2lbs Pork Tenderloin ½ cup Olive Oil 2 Tbsp Tamari Soy 2 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar 2 Tbsp Garlic, minced 2 tsp Honey 2 tsp Kosher Salt ½ cup Mixed Herbs, rough chopped – Basil, Parsley, Oregano, Rosemary, Thyme, Dill etc 1 Lemon, cut into wedges Fresh cracked pepper
Blend together olive oil, tamari, balsamic, garlic, honey, salt and herbs. It can be chunky, no need for a perfect puree. Pour over pork and coat on all sides. Marinate for at least 2 hours but up to eight hours.
Preheat grill to medium high heat.
Remove pork from marinade and grill for 20-25 minutes, until the center registers 135 on a thermometer.
Remove from the heat and rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with lemon wedges.
